In March, our school once again welcomed visitors from our French partner school, Lycée Virlogeux. Sixteen students in Year 11 and Year 12 hosted a French pupil for the week. The French exchange is now in its seventh year.
The French pupils were delighted to experience a typical school day in England, as well as discovering local places of interest. They spent a day at Warwick Castle and a day enjoying Oxford. Luckily the sun shone and dispelled any myths about the English weather! We are looking forward to our return journey to the beautiful region of the Auvergne in September 2012. Once again, I would like to thank the parents and students who hosted their French partners and gave them such a warm welcome.
