Education Day at Villa Park

We had previously attended the Girls Under 13 Premier League Tournament at Powerleague in March, and as a thank you we were invited for an Education Day at Villa Park where the team took part in a five team friendly tournament against teams that Aston Villa Football Club had selected.

National Finals – Badminton

This year has been very successful for us as a badminton team. Only last year, we played against local schools in our Birmingham area, winning all games and securing a place in the Sainsbury’s school games, a massive event held at the NIA to celebrate sport in our schools with many other sports teams also competing. This was also the regional round, in which we had to win to get to Centre Parcs. After 3 intense games, we found out that we were in the final and played our last game, a very competitive and difficult game which we also won and were crowned the best badminton team in the West Midlands.

U14 Kings Norton League Tournament – Champions!

On Thursday 7th of March, after school eight year nine girls: Alice D, Alice F, Izzy, Ella, Annie, Sabah, Mika and I, left for Five Ways School to play in the Kings Norton Schools Netball Tournament.
