Year 8 science enterprise day

During the Residential week, the groups who were in school took part in a Maths and Science Enterprise day.
For the Science day, the girls were in House teams and were arranged as companies. They had to design a fire extinguisher and produce the Carbon Dioxide to fill it. The girls each had different roles- financial directors, producers, designers etc. Each company had a chance to do the practical work, work as a team to produce a presentation and consider the financial implications.

From the feedback, the day was very successful and the staff and the girls enjoyed the presentations.

The winners got a certificate and prize - Well done to FIRE AWAY .
