Visit to st martin's church

On the 4th of October forty five members of Year 7 joined Mrs James, Miss Meredith, Mr Marcetic and the Senior Prefect Team on a visit to St Martin’s Church in the Bullring. We attended a service attributed to the founders of the King Edward’s Foundation, along with Camp Hill Boys and the five other King Edward schools.

The service consisted of hymns, readings from the Bible and speeches, including one from the Reverend Canon S. W. Jones. We also had an interesting talk on how and when the King Edward schools were founded and who the founders were.

I enjoyed the service as it gave me a clear understanding of how the King Edward Foundation started. It helped me, and all of the other Year 7s, to know a bit more about our school and feel welcome to both the Foundation and Camp Hill.
