Sixty-five girls stayed awake all night recently to raise money for schools in the developing world. Ms Caherty,
who organised the event, is going to India over the summer with the Lasallian Developing World Projects charity,
and this fun “stay-awake”, held in the new Sports Hall, has already raised £1230.07 for the project, with sponsorship
money still coming in. The School is also donating 15 decommissioned laptops. The night was a huge success
and thanks go to Ms Caherty for the imaginative and fun idea of raising money for a good cause.
