Space centre visit

On Friday 10th of July, 7Z and 7Y went to the National Space Centre in Leicester. We set off on our epic journey to outer space at approximately 9 am. We landed at 10.15a.m., and descended from our rocket (the coach). We received our boarding pass and entered. We explored this peculiar planet and many other planets for a short while ,before floating into the theatre. We had interactive space pads to answer some mind-boggling questions (did a quiz).

Then, we quickly ate our sandwiches and continued on our mission to Jupiter’s moon, Europa (the simulator). We boarded the rocket, zoomed past Earth, and crash-landed on Europa. It was amazing

We explored a huge rocket from our past generation, where there were many experiments we could take part in.

Overall, we had a brilliant expedition and would like to say a big thank you to mission control (the staff), who came with us and Mrs Bunting who organised the trip.
