In the last edition of the newsletter four girls in KS3 had successfully taken part in the Young Writers’ Bust-ARhyme
poetry competition -a competition available to all students.
However, these entries and more from our school have now been selected for publication, a great achievement! My poem, Seashell, and those of the other girls will be featured in the Bust-A-Rhyme, Warwickshire & The West Midlands. This is scheduled for publication on the 31st March 2010 and you can find out more on www.youngwriters.co.uk.
Congratulations to everybody who took part in the poetry competition, and hopefully this will encourage more people to keep on writing and entering competitions.
