Year 9 Options Evening: Tuesday 23 February

There was a fantastic turn out to this event with 112 students represented by their parents. The evening had three sections: options and early GCSE entry, how to survive the hassles of exams and Building Learning Power. Ms Owens went through the core and option subjects including additional mathematics and statistics to be covered in Year 11, whilst Miss Meredith talked about how options and stress management would be covered with ‘Never fear, PHSE is here!’ Finally Mrs Johnson put the parents to the test with Building Learning Power and tested their skills of visual observation. There was lots of positive feedback at the end of the evening and thank you to everyone who returned their questionnaires.
