Chronicle – A Global Storytelling Event

The Drama department would like to offer their thanks to all those students, parents and members of the school community who performed in, contributed to or watched our recent “Chronicle” performance. During the exciting, lively and very varied evening, students from every year group were represented in 14 acts representing dance, song and drama.

Particular thanks and congratulations are due to Jenni O’Kane and Andriana Hambi (Year 11) who helped to organise and run the event as without their help the evening would not have been possible.

In total we managed to raise over £270, half of this money will be going to help the Bright Kids orphanage in Uganda, where the money will be used to buy food and chickens for the children. Many thanks go out to those people who contributed any money to help this very worthy cause, if you would like any more information on their work it can be found at the following website http://www.thebrightkids.org
