Ofsted Report
We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection, which recognised King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls as an exceptional school in five key areas.
Under Ofsted's renewed inspection framework, schools are no longer given a single overall grade. Instead, inspectors evaluate individual aspects of school performance. Following our inspection in March 2026, we were awarded Exceptional judgements in:
- Achievement
- Inclusion
- Leadership and Governance
- Personal Development and Wellbeing
- Post-16 Provision
In addition, Attendance and Behaviour and Curriculum and Teaching were both judged to be Strong, while inspectors confirmed that safeguarding is highly effective, with an open and positive culture where all requirements are met.

Karen Stevens, Headteacher, said:
We are absolutely delighted with the outcome of this inspection. To receive five Exceptional judgements is a tremendous recognition of the dedication, commitment and talent of our students, staff, governors and wider school community. The report reflects our ambition to provide not only outstanding academic opportunities but also an environment where every young person can flourish, develop confidence and realise their potential. We are incredibly proud of what our students achieve every day.
These outcomes reflect the hard work and commitment of our entire school community. As part of the King Edward VI Foundation, we remain committed to providing an exceptional education, championing inclusion and wellbeing, and ensuring that every student is empowered to achieve their very best.
