Many of our students have benefitted from the development of Virtual Work Experience opportunities that have opened up recently and these will continue to be promoted as part of our Work Experience offer going forwards. Students also develop their workplace skills through participation in the National Citizen Service Trust (NCS) Scheme (https://wearencs.com/).

An updated work experience programme has been introduced so that students in Years 11-13 will have had the opportunity to undertake two work experience placements in their final three years with us.
- Year 11 students are asked to undertake a minimum of 5 days of work experience in the first 3 weeks of July;
- Year 12 complete their work experience during enrichment week at the end of June/beginning of July, as well as at other times during the week if they have non-contact time; and
- Year 13 students will be able to undertake placements in non-contact time.

Key Stage 5 Work Placements/Voluntary work during school time
All placements must be submitted using the Placements Tool on Unifrog, and all stages (student, employer, parent, school) must be completed before the placement can start.
